Bereavement
Losing someone you love can turn your whole world upside down. Grief doesn’t follow rules or timelines, and there is no right or wrong way to experience it.
You may feel sadness, numbness, anger, relief, confusion — or a mix of all of these, sometimes changing from one day to the next.
You might be left feeling isolated in your pain, even when surrounded by others.
As a bereavement counsellor, I offer a safe and understanding space where you can talk openly about your loss, your memories, and whatever else is coming up for you.
There is no “right” or “wrong” way to grieve, and you won’t be rushed through it. Together, we can explore what you’re experiencing, honour your feelings, and find gentle ways to begin adjusting to life after loss.
Counselling can help you feel less alone in it. My role is to walk alongside you, to listen without judgement, and to support you in finding your own path through this painful journey.

How I Work
In our work together, I like to keep things practical. When we find a strategy that could be helpful, we’ll try it out in your day-to-day life and then reflect on what worked and what could be improved. This way, the tools you use are truly yours—shaped around what supports you best.
In the first session, we’ll talk about what’s on your mind and what you’d like from counselling. There’s no pressure—you set the pace, and it’s completely normal for us both
to feel a little nervous when meeting someone new.
There’s no pre-session work, apart from signing the contract electronically, which I’ll send to you by email.
Before we start, I offer a free Discovery Chat. This is a short conversation so we can talk about your needs and see if working together feels like a good fit.
How to Book
I know starting therapy is a big step, both emotionally and financially, and I'm committed to working with you to keep it accessible.
SESSIONS
My sessions can be online or in my therapy room in Taunton.
50 min Sessions: £55, either weekly or fortnightly
60 mins Sessions: £60, either weekly or fortnightly
I don’t want finances to stop you from getting support and I offer a limited number of concession spaces, so do get in touch if this would help.
